Visitor Services Guide
- Salary $70,158.40 to $81,383.12 p/a (pro rata) + super
- Permanent part time position – 21 hours p/w Monday, Tuesday Wednesday

About the role
As a Visitor Services Guide, you will be the welcoming face of the Garden. You will provide friendly assistance, share local knowledge, developing education & environmental programs and help ensure every visitor enjoys the Garden’s unique natural wonders.
From guiding guests and answering queries to supporting events and maintaining a positive visitor experience, your work will help foster appreciation for our native environment.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to
- Greeting visitors and providing excellent customer service
- Sharing information about the Garden’s flora, walking trails & facilities
- Assisting with bookings, tours, events and educational activities
- Supporting daily operations of the Visitor Centre
- Promoting conservation, safety and positive visitor experiences
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a related discipline (e.g. ecology, biology, teaching, tourism, conservation or customer service)
- Class C Driver’s Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Working With Children Check
- A love of nature and enjoyment of engaging with the community
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proactive, reliable and confident working in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A keen interest in Australian native plants, wildlife or local ecology
