About the role

Join our dedicated team at Thomas Carlyle Children's Centre, a warm and welcoming early learning community committed to excellence in childcare and early education.

Reporting to the Director - Thomas Carlyle Children's Centre, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based programs
• Foster inclusive, nurturing, and responsive relationships with children and families
• Work collaboratively with a supportive team to maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment
• Observe and document children’s progress to support individual learning and growth
• Uphold health, safety, and licensing standards at all times

Required qualifications, experience & skills:

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Educator and Care (or equivalent)
• Current First Aid, Child Protection and Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates (HLTAID004) (HLTAID012)
• Current Working with Children clearance number
• Identify and report children and young people at risk - CHCPRT025
• Strong understanding of child development and the principles of early learning frameworks
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A caring, creative, and adaptable approach to teaching and caregiving
