About the role
Council is seeking a dedicated and reliable Plumber to join our team, ensuring our local infrastructure and public facilities remain in excellent working order.
Reporting to the Coordinator Building & Trades Services, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Perform a wide range of plumbing services across various sites, including maintenance, repairs, and installations in public buildings, parks, and community facilities
- Respond to plumbing emergencies quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to council services
- Work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality, timely service delivery
- Maintain accurate records of all plumbing work carried out and comply with relevant health and safety regulations
Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Relevant plumbing qualifications and a current driver’s licence
- Proven experience as a plumber
- Sound knowledge of plumbing systems, maintenance, and repair techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
