- Salary $65,811.17 to $76,341.17 p/a + super
- 38 hours per week/9 day fortnight

About the role
Reporting to the Team Leader Open Space Maintenance, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Undertake maintenance of parks, sportsfields, road verges, roundabouts, traffic islands, laneways, railway gardens, council properties and business centres
- Litter pickup, mulching, pruning, turf maintenance, weeding, fertilising, cultivating, watering, tree/shrub removal, planting, pest and disease control, barbeque cleaning, park furniture cleaning, pruning for sightlines/visibility, pruning for pedestrian access, bush regeneration, chemical application, playground inspection
- Establish and maintain pedestrian and traffic control where applicable on worksites
- Supervision of a small team on a daily basis
Required experience & skills:
- Trade qualifications in Horticulture or relevant industry experience
- Current C or MR class licence
- Current first aid certificate
- Traffic control certificates
- Chainsaw accreditation
- Chemcert certificate
- WHS Whitecard
- Extensive demonstrated experience in Horticultural maintenance
