• Salary $70,158.40 to $81,383.12 p/a + super

About the role

Council is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Plant Operator – Sportsfields to join our Open Space Services team and help keep our sporting facilities safe, attractive, and well-maintained for the local community.

Reporting to the Team Leader Sportsfields, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Operate a range of plant and equipment
• Carry out turf and ground maintenance across sportsfields, parks, and reserves
• Assist with line marking, irrigation, and preparation of sporting surfaces
• Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality open space services
• Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental standards

Qualifications, skills & experience:

• Experience operating plant and equipment in parks or turf maintenance
• Knowledge of turf management practices, including mowing and irrigation
• Valid MR licence
• WHS White Card
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Chemcert certificate
• A can-do attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
