Parking Ranger
- Salary $68,114.80 - $79,012.96 p/a + super
- Permanent full time role, 38 hours per week (rostered day off)
- Saturday Overtime available on rotational basis
- Beautiful Ku-ring-gai Location
Located 16 kms north of the Sydney CBD, the Ku-ring-gai area covers 84km2, is home to 124,000 residents and is set in one of New South Wales most attractive natural environments.
Reporting to the Team Leader and Senior Parking Ranger, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Patrolling Ku-ring-gai streets and roads, public reserves and car parks to detect any breaches of the relevant Acts and Regulations so as to ensure a good traffic flow and equitable access to available parking spaces for all users.
- Enforcement and control of Council local laws and policies, relevant Acts and legislation
- Issuing warnings and/or infringement penalty notices as appropriate
- Maintaining appropriate records and the documentation of evidence
- Undertaking inspections and recording of outcomes on activities that are the subject of complaints
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- High School Certificate or equivalent
- NSW Drivers License Class C or equivalent
- Current NSW WorkCover White card
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
