- Salary $94,406.52 to $109,512.00p/a + super

About the role
Council is seeking a motivated and experienced Supervisor – Drainage Maintenance to join our dynamic Road Services team. This is your chance to make a real impact on the community while leading a skilled team of professionals.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Investigate and respond to public service requests, ensuring timely and effective solutions
- Manage scheduled and reactive drainage maintenance programs, ensuring Council assets meet industry best practices
- Supervise and motivate staff, manage work orders, and oversee traffic control and safety compliance
- Maintain equipment, plant, and small machinery, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely
- Provide guidance, training, and support to your team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional growth
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- TAFE Certificate in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and hands-on experience in drainage maintenance
- Proven ability to supervise, motivate, and develop operational teams
- Experience engaging contractors and overseeing civil maintenance projects
- Traffic Control Certificates (or willingness to undertake training) and understanding of WHS requirements
- Competent in Microsoft Office, databases, and basic surveying
- Strong written/verbal communication and a commitment to excellent customer service
