- Salary $81,384.68 to $94,405.48 p/a (pro rata) + super
- Temporary part time position – Up to 6 months

About the role
Council is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sportsfields Booking Officer to join our Infrastructure Services team.
In this role, you will coordinate the booking and allocation of Council’s sportsfields and recreational facilities, supporting local sports clubs, schools and community groups to enjoy our open spaces.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to
- Administer and manage the bookings of Council’s sportsfields, parks and recreational venues
- Liaise with sporting clubs, schools, and community organisations to ensure equitable access and efficient use of facilities
- Maintain accurate booking records, issue permits and process payments and refunds
- Coordinate seasonal allocation processes and assist with policy implementation
- Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to public enquiries
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to support maintenance schedules and special events
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- TAFE certificate or tertiary qualification in sport, recreation, administration, business studies, health or other relevant area
- Demonstrated experience in facility or booking administration
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office and booking software
- A positive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
