- Salary $109,513.56 to $127,034.96 p/a + super

About the role
Council is seeking an experienced and passionate Environmental Volunteering Programs Coordinator to lead a diverse suite of environmental volunteering programs that protect biodiversity, strengthen community stewardship and inspire environmental action across the LGA.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and deliver Council’s environmental volunteering programs and community garden initiatives
- Manage and support staff and volunteers, including training and on-ground support
- Plan and deliver environmental events, activities, and volunteer engagement initiatives
- Promote programs through community engagement, communications, and social media
- Manage budgets, grants, and resources for environmental volunteering programs
- Build partnerships, ensure legislative compliance, and provide high-quality customer service
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Qualifications and/or substantial experience in bush regeneration or natural resource management
- Proven experience coordinating environmental volunteering or community environmental programs
- Strong people management skills across staff and volunteers
- Solid field experience in bush regeneration or environmental rehabilitation
- Strong communication, engagement and event coordination skills
- Knowledge of NSW environmental legislation and strong organisational skills
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence and First Aid Certificate
