About the Opportunity:
Council is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the role of People & Culture Officer.
Reporting to the Team Leader, People Strategy and Business Partnering, you will assist in providing a full range of People & Culture functions with a primary focus on the day-to-day coordination of Council’s recruitment and selection process.
This role will require utilisation of your generalist knowledge and experience in working with relevant legislation and Awards, interpreting organisational policies/procedures, employee relations, payroll, learning and development, HRIS, and reporting. Your exceptional attention to detail and flexibility in managing changing workloads and priorities will ensure your smooth transition into our progressive and supportive team.
To be considered for the role you will require a certificate or diploma in Human Resources or a related field, experience in a similar role within a medium to large organisation, excellent written/verbal communication skills and proven time management capabilities.
