About the role
Council is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the role of Library Assistant.
As a Library Assistant you will provide support and assistance to the Branch Librarians and ensure the provision of consistent, high quality service delivery to the community.
This role will be fully integrated with the operations of the library with duties including, but not limited to:
- Pro-active customer service delivery
- Enabling access to digital resources and facilities
- Delivery of programs and events
- Assisting with the general housekeeping and presentation of the library
This is a great opportunity for an individual who has experience in collaborative team work, strong conflict resolution skills, a friendly and approachable nature along with sound interpersonal and communication skills.

**As a part of the branch network team this role will be required to work at any of our libraries as rostered. A willingness to work flexible hours on occasion, including rostered evening and weekend work will be required**
